The CK Group, including CK Hutchison (0001), has partnered with the Li Ka Shing Foundation to raise funds for the Community Chest Charity Show this Saturday.
In the fundraising program broadcast this Saturday evening, the CK hotline 18282 will be launched from 8 pm to 11 pm to raise funds for "The Community Chest Rainbow Fund."
For every HK$1 the public donates, the CK Group and the Li Ka Shing Foundation will donate HK$2.
The group has cooperated with The Community Chest for many years, and this is the sixth time it has jointly donated with the Li Ka Shing Foundation.
The Rainbow Fund is an emergency relief fund established in 2004 to provide rapid response to people who find themselves in an emergency financial crisis for which other sources of help may not be available.
It granted over HK$21 million and benefited 5,604 people in need in the year through March, according to its website.
