The number of constituents of the Hang Seng Index will increase by three to 93, with J&T Global Express (1519), Aluminium Corporation of China (2600), and BeOne Medicines (6160) joining.
Hang Seng Indexes Company made the announcement on Friday after reviewing the Hang Seng Family of Indexes for the quarter ended March 31.
All changes will take effect on June 8.
Sunny Optical Technology (2382) and Haier Smart Home (6690) will be removed from the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, while Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group (3692) and Akeso (9926) will be included. Therefore, the total number of constituents remains unchanged at 50.
Two Chinese artificial intelligence startups, Knowledge Atlas Technology Joint Stock (2513), also known as Zhipu AI, and MiniMax (0100), will become the constituents of the Hang Seng Tech Index.
Kingdee International Software (0268) and Kingsoft Corporation (3888) will drop from the tech gauge, bringing the total number of constituents of the Hang Seng Tech Index unchanged at 30.
