Hong Kong stocks closed higher on Friday, led by tech heavyweights.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 309 points, or 1.22 percent, to 25,695 points, with a full-day turnover of HK$281.2 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index went up 2.11 percent to 4,869 points.
Lenovo (0992) surged 19.7 percent after posting robust full-year results, marking the biggest gainers among blue chips.
It's followed by the chipmaker, SMIC (1981), which jumped 7.6 percent.
NetEase (9999) also lifted 5.7 percent after reporting a growth in its first-quarter profit.
Chinese artificial intelligence companies Zhipu (2513) skyrocketed 27 percent to a new high, while MINIMAX (0100) jumped 16 percent, as these two stocks are reportedly to be included in the Hang Seng Tech Index.
