Geely Automobile's net profit rises slightly to 16.85 billion yuan at 0.25 pc year on year

Geely Automobile's (0175) 2025 annual net profit rose slightly to 16.85 billion yuan (HK$19.18 billion), a 0.24 percent rise year on year.

It proposed a final dividend of 50 HK cents, up 52.52 percent.

The company's shares fell 5.2 percent to HK$17.86 at the beginning of the afternoon trading session as it announced its annual results at noon.

Geely's total revenue was at a record high of 345.2 billion yuan, representing a 25.12 percent increase, mainly driven by sales in the mainland. Its gross profit margin slightly increased to 0.1 percent to 16.6 percent.

Its total sales volume also increased by 39 percent, with the most significant growth coming from Geely Galaxy. The company said it sold 3.02 million vehicles last year, exceeding its revised annual sales volume target of 3 million vehicles.

Looking ahead, the company said it has set the sales volume target of 3.45 million vehicles this year, representing around a 14 percent increase over the total sales volume achieved in 2025.
