Hong Kong stocks jumped by midday on Monday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index climbed by 385 points, or 1.5 percent to 26,945 points by noon.
The half-day market turnover was HK$136 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 1 percent to 5,401 points at noon.
In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index rose by 1.2 percent to 4,113 points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index grew by 2 percent to 14,194 points at the midday close.
