Sportswear maker 361 Degrees International (1361) reported an 8.6 percent year-on-year increase in first-half net profit to 857.7 million yuan (HK$936.67 million), driven by robust growth in its e-commerce and kids businesses.
Revenue for the first six months rose 11 percent from a year earlier to 5.70 billion yuan, with gross profit climbing 11.4 percent to 2.37 billion yuan.
The company declared an interim dividend of 20.4 HK cents per share, up 23.6 percent from a year ago.
Revenue from the kids business rose 11.4 percent to 1.26 billion yuan, accounting for about 22.1 percent of total sales. Revenue from the e-commerce business' online-exclusive products surged 45 percent to 1.82 billion yuan, making up 31.8 percent of total revenue.
