Hang Seng Indexes Company quarterly review results out by mid-May

Hang Seng Indexes Company said it will announce the results of the quarterly review of the Hang Seng Family of Indexes on May 16. 

The number of constituents of the Hang Seng Index remained unchanged at 83 after the last review.

Pop Mart International (9992), a red-hot blue chip stock candidate, has not been included in the constituents of the benchmark index in the previous reviews.

The Chinese toymaker’s shares have risen around 450 percent over the past 12 months, giving it a market value of HK$220 billion.

The latest constituent changes will come into effect from June 9, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
