Hong Kong stocks opened higher this morning, despite the latest inflation data indicating that China is still facing deflation risks.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index started 90 points higher at 21,223.
The Tech Index was up 0.7 percent to 5,187 at the open.
Chinese sportswear brand Xtep International (1368) opened 2.8 percent lower at HK$5.90 after it announced plans to offer discounted shares and issue convertible bonds.
