German premium auto maker Audi announced that Kam Lung Motors has been signed up as the brand’s sole official distributor from July 1.
Kam Lung will be responsible for full business operations in Hong Kong, including wholesale and retail, sales, aftersales services, parts and accessories as well as the Audi Approved Plus used cars business.
Audi veteran, Lothar Korn, the Managing Director of Audi Hong Kong, said: “Driven by the strategy of Volkswagen Group to use the synergies of our two biggest brands in Hong Kong, Volkswagen and Audi, we have chosen Kam Lung Motors to be our official distributor in Hong Kong.''
Korn described it as a significant moment.
He said the partnership enables Audi to focus more on our long-term business plan and on exploring future opportunities. “Hong Kong is one of the most important markets for Audi. We will continue to stay in Hong Kong as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a newly established representative office of Audi AG to oversee and support the local market development.”
Hing Tak Mak, President of Kam Lung Motor Group, said the group is honored to become the sole official distributor for Audi in Hong Kong.
