The Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki led a donation ceremony at the Hong Kong International Airport this morning to supply over 20 tons of food and medical resources as part of the earthquake relief operations in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu convened with Han Win Naing, the Consul-General of Myanmar in Hong Kong, this morning to express his condolences for the recent quake.
Lee also expressed his optimism about the earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, and believes that through working collaboratively with rescue teams, Myanmar can be restored in no time.
Lee commended a recent successful rescue by the Hong Kong and China rescue teams, where they managed to rescue a survivor from the ruins. Lee praised the continuous efforts of the rescue teams, who are committed to saving lives during this critical period.
Han expressed his gratitude for Hong Kong’s humanitarian aid during this challenging time.
