The incident occurred at around 8.56am when the minibus, driving near Marina Cove, hit the wild boar.
The driver immediately filed a report with the police after the collision, while the injured animal could be seen sitting in the middle of the road. Staffers of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) were also called to the scene.
However, SPCA staffers arrived at the scene only to discover that the boar had already left.
A search for the wild boar is currently underway.
