A KMB double-decker bus caught fire in Tai Po on Tuesday, with no injuries reported.

The bus, which was not carrying any passengers at the time of the incident, caught fire at around 2.30 pm shortly after departing from the KMB Tai Po Depot, where it had undergone repairs and inspections.
The fire originated at the rear end of the vehicle as it was traveling on Yuen Shin Road, prompting the bus captain to notify the police.
One jet and one breathing apparatus team were deployed to put out the blaze.
According to the MTR, the feeder bus was undergoing a trial run and no passengers were aboard. The bus has since been returned to the depot, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
