A chilly dip to 15 degrees on Sat after weeklong heatwave

The Observatory warned of a sudden temperature drop to 15 degrees on Saturday (Mar 29), following four days of continuously rising temperatures starting from Monday.

The watchdog said the weather will be hot during the day until Friday (Mar 28), with mercury continuing to rise to 28 degrees on Thursday (Mar 27). 

However, the lowest temperature will drop to 20 degrees on Friday with a few showers, as the northeast monsoon is anticipated to reach southern China in the latter part of the week.

According to a nine-day weather report, the lowest temperature will hover at 15 degrees the following weekend, with mainly cloudy weather anticipated, along with one or two rain patches.
