It noted that most charging stations in the city have implemented charge service fees as the EV charging service market matures.
Details of the CLP fee-charging arrangements will be announced through notices at relevant parking lots in due course, the power giant added.
To promote the broader use of EVs in the city, CLP has established EV charging stations in major areas of Kowloon, the New Territories, and Lantau for public use for free since 2009.
It added that the company will support the government and the industry in expanding the EV charging network in Hong Kong and enhance the scale and coverage of charging.
