As the Hong Kong Flower Show (HKFS) is returning on Friday (Mar 14), Victoria Park is set to blossom under the theme "Ablaze with Glory," featuring vibrant Cosmos as the theme flower.
The Leisure and Cultural Service Department (LCSD) described the Cosmos as having a peaceful and charming feel, with its delicate petals floating in a light breeze.
The blossoming Cosmos, known for its tenacity and joy, is expected to infuse the show with exuberance and vitality.
Beyond the themed flower and other flowering plants, the exhibition will display an array of exquisite potted plants, beautifully arranged floral art and innovative landscape designs by over 200 local, mainland and overseas organizations.
Additionally, visitors can explore over 50 stalls offering floral, horticulture products and handicrafts, as well as Hong Kong street foods and drinks, allowing floral lovers to savor delicious treats while enjoying the beautiful displays.
To inspire creativity, a series of educational and entertaining activities will be organized for all ages, including children's painting competitions, plant exhibit competitions and guided tours.
The show will be open daily from 9am to 9pm between March 14 to 23, with an adult admission fee of HK$14, and HK$7 for children aged four to 14, full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, as well as people with disabilities and an accompanying caretaker.
Organized by the LCSD, the HKSF is also supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, which has been a major sponsor of the event for the 13th consecutive year since 2014.
