Joint Publishing bridges readers with charities in second-hand book sale

Joint Publishing announces the return of its popular "Charity Second-hand Book Sale" from March 3 to March 16, providing book lovers with a wide selection of second-hand books at bargain prices while helping a good cause. 

The public could take part in a pre-loved book sale at the publisher's Mong Kok MOKO Mall branch, with each book priced at HK$10.

All revenues from the event will be donated to the Institute for Integrated Rural Development to support local charity projects after deducting administrative expenses.

This year's sales featured various genres from public donations, enabling readers to replenish their collections while contributing to the communities.

Customers who purchased books at the fair could get a 10 percent discount on full-priced Chinese and English books as well as stationery.

For those unable to attend the fair, a second round of sales will be held in May at the Commercial Press in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
