A couple residing at Wan Tau Tong Estate in Tai Po tragically fell to their deaths 23 hours apart on the same day and at the same location, according to police.

The tragedy occurred around 11pm on Wednesday (Feb 19) at Wan Hang House. A 36-year-old man surnamed So fell from a height, landing on the building's canopy and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is reported that a 37-year-old woman surnamed Kan fell to her death at the same location in the early hours of the same day, who was later confirmed to be So's wife.
According to reports, Kan committed suicide after a fight between the married pair on Tuesday night (Feb 18). Approximately 23 hours later, So also committed suicide by jumping from the same location after leaving a suicide note.
According to police sources, So sent a WhatsApp message regarding Kan's death and his suicide note, expressing his apologies to his family on Wednesday morning and night, respectively.
