Mercury to drop to 13 degrees next Monday

The Observatory forecasted that temperatures will dip to 13 degrees in urban areas next Monday (February 24).

The weather watchdog noted that temperatures will range between 16 and 20 degrees in the next few days due to the persistent influence of the northeast monsoon.

However, the lowest temperature is expected to drop to 15 degrees over the weekend, as a replenishment of the monsoon is expected to reach Guangdong.

According to a nine-day weather report, temperatures in several areas of the New Territories, including Sheung Shui, Tai Po, and Ta Kwu Ling, will fall to 12 degrees or below during the morning next Monday.
