Man, 26, arrested by national security police

The National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force arrested a 26-year-old man on Thursday for “perverting the course of justice”, according to a statement issued late on Friday.

The department said it had laid a holding charge against the man with one count of "doing an act or a series of acts tending and intended to pervert the course of public justice".

The case will be mentioned at Eastern Magistrates' Courts on Saturday morning.
