Accidental gun discharge at New Territories North police station

A police officer at the New Territories North Regional Headquarters reportedly accidentally discharged his firearm while reloading it. The incident took place on Saturday night at the North District Headquarters in Tai Po.

According to reports, the officer was in the process of loading his semi-automatic pistol in the designated loading area when the gun unexpectedly fired a single bullet. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

The police have emphasized that they maintain strict regulations concerning equipment handling. The incident is currently under investigation by the New Territories North police.
