Deliveryman angrily tosses food items in Cheung Sha Wan, leading to online speculation

A video posted online captured a delivery man of South Asian descent furiously tossing delivery items, sparking speculation among netizens about the cause of his rage.

The security camera footage showed a Hainanese chicken specialty store located on Un Chau Street in Cheung Sha Wan. Initially, the footage depicted a store employee handing multiple bags of food to the South Asian delivery man and checking if the items were all correct.

After the items were handed over, the man stated that he would also check, and the employee returned to the store.

Once he walked to the street, he threw the bag of items with full force and loudly cursed, repeating the action multiple times while questioning if they were joking with him.

The items scattered across the ground, and due to the force of the throw, some food even hit pedestrians. People waiting for their food outside the store moved away to dodge the flying food.

The deliveryman also picked up the items and tossed them toward the store door, nearly hitting a pedestrian and causing others to avoid the scattered items.

Despite the commotion, the employee did not come out of the store, and after releasing his rage, the delivery man left the area under the gaze of multiple people waiting for their food.

The cause of his outburst remains unknown, leading to various theories among netizens. Some speculated that he might have been angered by a long wait, while others thought the items might have been incorrect, necessitating a return to the store for an exchange.

However, quite a few netizens criticized him for being too rash and called his actions inappropriate, regardless of the reason.
