Driver arrested for trafficking space oil in Sheung Shui

Police officers discovered 50 vape capsules containing alleged space oil in a private car during a random road check in Sheung Shui at 1.30am on Monday. 

A 30-year-old man, surnamed Ng, was arrested for drug trafficking and illegal sale of Part 1 poisons after a road check on Lung Sum Avenue.

Ng also tested positive for etomidate, the main component of space oil.

Besides Ng, five other drivers have been arrested for suspected drunk driving after failing the alcohol breath test. 

During the police action, a 42-year-old driver was arrested for driving under drug influence, driving with a suspended license, and failing to pay fines. Another 28-year-old driver was arrested for driving without a license and third-party insurance.
