Former lawmaker Shiu Ka-chun’s funeral service to be held on February 15

The funeral service for former lawmaker and pro-democracy activist Shiu Ka-chun will be held at 10.30 am on February 15 at the Methodist International Church in Wan Chai, followed by his cremation the same day.

Due to limited seating at the venue, the funeral service is restricted to family members, friends, and students, with no public participation allowed.

Members of the public who wish to pay their respects can visit the church from 9 am to 10 am on that day, with entry closing at 9.45 am.

Furthermore, out of respect for Shiu’s family, there will be no interviews or media coverage during the funeral service. The family sincerely appreciates the public's understanding and kindly requests no wreaths, flower baskets, bouquets, tribute items, or monetary donations.
