Bank chairman's mistress claims criticism stemmed from jealousy over her 'beauty and curvy figure'

Rachel Chung faced significant backlash after it was revealed that she was the mistress of 66-year-old Patrick Ma Ching-hang, chairman of Tai Sang Bank. 

The 34-year-old responded to the online criticism by calling out netizens for their harsh remarks and even mocked them for living in Sau Mau Ping.

She referred to it as a "blessing" that they could view her Instagram and suggested that their comments stemmed from jealousy over her beauty and curvy figure.

Liu, a resident of Sau Mau Ping, expressed that Chung should not ruin Ma's family while showing no remorse for revealing her secret lover's behaviour. 

Some locals believe that while it is Chung's personal choice to be a mistress, she shouldn't belittle the residents of Sau Mau Ping just to elevate her own image, arguing that such behavior reflects poorly on her character. 

Another resident, Lam, acknowledged that everyone has the right to express their opinions but cautioned that one must choose their words wisely to avoid impacting others negatively. 

He speculated that Chung might enjoy the spotlight as she could be an attention seeker.

Rachel has five children, which includes the child she shares with her ex-husband.
