Hong Kong detects undersea earthquake off coast of Guangdong

The Hong Kong Observatory said a magnitude 4.2 earthquake occurred at 2.40 pm on Friday in the sea south of Shanwei in China's Guangdong province, according to an initial analysis.

The Observatory said it had received over 10 reports in Hong Kong where people felt minor shaking that lasted a few seconds.
