A dragon boat tournament was held on Sunday in celebration of the 75th National Day, attracting 750 youths from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The dragon boat race, organized by the Y. Elites Association, aims to help young people better understand and support national development.
Police Commissioner Raymond Siu Chak-yee, one of the officiating guests, encouraged youths to explore mainland China, contribute to society and develop a strong sense of national identity.
Siu also shared that he visited the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center with 18 members of the Junior Police Call, where they witnessed a satellite launch.
