The upcoming edition of the ACGHK welcomes its 25th anniversary, with participating merchants stating the organizers held a lot of advertising in the mainland for the anniversary.
A stall owner, debuting Stephen Chow's The God of Cookery movie models, stated that they are optimistic about the sales revenue this year and believed that they could see a 30 percent increase compared to the previous year, estimating sales to reach 1 million.
He also pointed out that he was not worried about the effects on sales as Hong Kong residents head to the mainland to spend money and pointed out that the ACGHK has its characteristics and could attract citizens from the mainland, Thailand, and Southeast Asia to specifically come to Hong Kong for the event.
This year's ACGHK will feature 142 merchants and will open from 10 am to 9 pm each day, except for the final day, where it will close at 8 pm.
The organizers are not holding a live sale of the tickets, which are only sold in specific convenience stores at HK$42, while children's tickets are HK$20.
