Free ice cream, ferry and tram rides to kick off ‘Art March’

Free ice cream distribution, free tram and Star Ferry rides, will be among a series of activities organized by the SAR government to kick off the upcoming "Art March," according to Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung.

Speaking at the launch ceremony for "Art March" held by the Hong Kong Museum of Art on Thursday, Yeung said the event covers a wide range of creative industries, including culture, art, fashion, film, and television entertainment.

He noted that a series of promotional activities such as free ice cream distribution, free tram and Star Ferry rides, will be held next month to complement the Art March event.

The cultural chief believed the event can attract tourists and citizens from different backgrounds, and urged the tourism and hotel industries to cooperate with the cultural and arts sectors to strengthen the "Art March" brand.

Businesses can jump on the many cultural and art events held during “Art March” to offer visitors a splendid journey of art, he added.
