Man in critical condition after getting hit by truck in Choi Hung Estate

A 25-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday morning and is in critical condition after he was hit by a truck in Choi Hung Estate. 

The incident occurred around 6 am today when the truck was traveling along west-bound Lung Cheung Road and reached Hung Mui Avenue opposite Kam Wan House. 

The man surnamed Chan was crossing the road at the time but was hit by the truck. He spat blood and his nose began to bleed. He was sent to hospital in a conscious state but his condition deteriorated quickly and is now in critical condition. 

After the incident, the 57-year-old trucker surnamed Lui stayed at the scene to aid police investigation.
