Body discovered in Kowloon Reservoir

Police were alerted to Cheung Sha Wan after a body was discovered Monday morning in the Kowloon Reservoir.

A hiker found a person floating unresponsive in the reservoir located in the Kam Shan Country Park at 9.11 am and called the police.

Officers arrived and rescued the man in the reservoir, who was pronounced dead on site.

The deceased was wearing a short-sleeved shirt stained with blood, shorts, and sneakers.

Police are verifying the identity of the man.
