A male tenant was arrested after he violently beat up a security guard in North Point on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at around 10 am today at Metropole Building on King’s Road. The security guard bled from his head following the assault, which was reported to police by his colleagues.
The 60-year-old guard was then taken to Eastern Hospital in a conscious state.
The tenant, with blood stains on his T-shirt, was arrested by police for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The tenant was also taken to the Eastern Hospital for medical attention after he claimed he had his back injured.
The police are currently investigating the cause and process of the incident.
