A mother who allegedly killed her three young daughters has been taken to hospital after complaining of discomfort on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old mother was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and has allegedly confessed to suffocating her three young daughters with a pillow in their subdivided flat in Sham Shui Po.
She was escorted into Caritas Medical Centre by police officers this afternoon from the Cheung Sha Wan police station after she complained of discomfort, and transferred to the Castle Peak Hospital for further treatment at around 7 pm.
The woman, of Indian ethnicity, earlier told police her husband killed their three daughters with a knife. She is due to be brought to the Kowloon City Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning (June 7) on three counts of murder.
The subdivided flat at 115 Kweilin Street where the alleged murder occurred was unsealed at around 2 pm today. The door to the flat was left unlocked, with the girls’ school bags and shoes still seen sitting inside the apartment.
When asked to comment on the case, a neighbor said the woman was nice and polite and seemed to have good relationships with her daughters.
She said the woman usually leaves her home along with the three kids, including dropping them off at school at 11 am every day. She also noted that the girls were very sweet and cute.
She also recalled seeing the woman with a relative on Sunday night, adding that she would never have thought that a woman like this would do something this horrible.
