Three people were injured as two private sedans and a taxi collided in the Cross-Harbor Tunnel in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The accident happened at around 1 am today when the one-tube-two-way operation was implemented in the tunnel for cleansing works.
A Tesla car lost control and crashed into the curb on the side of the tunnel while traveling toward Wanchai, then rebounded to hit another private vehicle and a taxi that failed to brake in time.
The female Tesla driver surnamed Hui, and the male private car driver, surnamed Chow, along with a 37-year-old passenger, suffered minor injuries and were sent to the hospital. The taxi driver sustained an injury to his waist but declined medical treatment.
The front ends of both cars were severely damaged.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
