The ceremony was held at the Chamber of LegCo Complex at 10 am.
Witnessed by Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu, the four candidates, Adrian Ho King-hong from the New People's Party, General manager of artificial intelligence software firm SenseTime Hong Kong Shang Hailong, Chairman of the Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association Chan Wing-kwong, and Associate Dean for Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong William Wong Kam-fai, took the oath of office successively.
The ceremony finished smoothly in 10 minutes, during which Wong mispronounced a word in the oath and was required to repeat it.
The four Legco seats became vacant after four lawmakers joined the administration in July this year.
