Man rings police after murdering girlfriend in Ma On Shan

A 52-year-old man was arrested in Ma On Shan on Thursday morning after police said he called them on himself about the murder of his 38-year-old girlfriend.

The force said the incident took place at 6.17am this morning, when the man called the force saying he had killed a woman at a farm that comes with a barbecue site on Mui Tsz Lam Road.

Officers immediately responded to the scene, arresting the caller himself and having discovered the naked body of the woman. It was believed that she died around 4am.

Police said there were multiple wounds on her body. Utensils for consuming marijuana and Methamphetamine were also found at the scene.

It was believed that the man attacked the woman after taking drugs. The two lived together and had arguments about money.

The man had triad background and previous record of violence. Police are still searching for the weapon he used to attack the girlfriend.
