The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong said it will provide a HK$1,000 Covid jab subsidy for eligible working people in a bid to boost the city’s vaccination rate.
The subsidy scheme will open for applications next Monday for fully vaccinated working people whose company did not offer any “paid vaccination leave”.
Those who took unpaid leave due to vaccination can also apply for the subsidy, according to the chamber.
Applicants must present proof of the two-dose vaccination when applying for the subsidy.
The chamber said more than 3,000 working people in Hong Kong will benefit from the subsidy scheme.
