The government has not found any new coronavirus infections from its latest lockdown in Quarry Bay after testing around 460 people.
Block N2 of Kornhill in Quarry Bay was cordoned off from 12.15am yesterday for mandatory testing. As of 6pm yesterday, around 460 persons subject to compulsory testing had their specimens collected.
The exercise finished at around 2.15pm today, with all residents tested negative for the virus.
All residents, after tested negative for the virus, will still be brought to quarantine centers to undergo a 21-day quarantine as a precautionary measure in view of the mutant case detected from the building.
Officials have reminded anyone who spent more than two hours in the buildings between April 21 to May 4 that they must undergo tests before May 6, even if they were absent during the lockdown.
