This coming week would be crucial for Hong Kong and the government will monitor whether the coronavirus infections are declining to take appropriate measures on social-distancing, the Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung Kin-chung says.

In his weekly blog, he also called on residents to get themselves tested for the virus, so that the silent spread in the community can be interrupted.
Cheung said once again that test samples will not be sent outside Hong Kong and will be destroyed.
Groups, including some distrcit councilors, have expressed fears that personal information will be sent to mainland Chinese authorities.
