Group protests outside court where tycoon is on trial

About a dozen people claiming to be supporters of a journalist who alleges being intimidated by Next Digital media tycoon Jimmy Lai Chee-ying protested outside the court today, carrying placards and shouting slogans. Lai is facing trial for intimidating a journalist at the June 4 vigil in Victoria Park in 2017 and he has denied the charges at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court.
