A man stabbed his father twice at home in Sai Ying Pun this morning after a dispute and jumped to his death.
In the early hours, a man, 44, was found dead on High Street in Sai Ying Pun, while his father, 78, died in hospital. He had suffered stab wound near his heart and in the abdomen.
It is understood that they lived in a flat on High Street in Sai Ying Pun. The man stabbed his father with a 35cm saber before jumping to his death.
Police said the man works in the communications industry, and is not suspected to be suffereing from any mental illnesses. The police suspect family issues to be behind the incident.
