A private jet that landed in Dunedin Airport in New Zealand to take 10 mystery travelers home on Wednesday has left for Hong Kong, a report from New Zealand says.
The private flight arrived on Wednesday afternoon with two crew members on board and left again today to take 10 international visitors home, a Customs spokesperson said, Stuff.co.nz reports.
Flight-tracking software shows the jet, which departed Dunedin Airport about 4:41pm on Thursday, is destined for Hong Kong. It is travelling via Brisbane, where it is expected to stop for 90 minutes.
Who the 10 travellers are and why they are on a private charter is still unclear. It is understood the Bombardier twin-jet plane's last takeoff point before heading to Dunedin was Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
