There have been four new coronavirus cases in Hong Kong today, bringing the tally to 1,005.
Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan of the Centre for Health Production said the two females and two males are aged between 21 and 63.
Three of them had been abroad including two students. The only local case today is a 63-year-old woman who is a close contact of a confirmed case
Although the number of new daily cases continue to drop, Chuang said people should not let their guard down as the situation is not yet under control.
"Usually what is meant by under control is if we don't have any cases for one or two incubation periods," she said.
Chuang said she noticed that many people went hiking and gathering recently, and urged people to maintain social distancing and not go out as much as possible.
Virus cases in Hong Kong surpassed 1,000 yesterday.
