St. Paul's College announced on Tuesday that it has addressed recent incidents involving student fights on school premises, which were captured in two videos. The school's disciplinary team has taken appropriate actions and has informed the parents of the students involved.
The incidents have also been reported to the Education Bureau.
In response to the videos that have gone viral recently, St. Paul's College plans to send a detailed letter to all parents and students explaining the incidents and the measures taken.
The clips showing two male students in a physical altercation inside a classroom, which revealed one student being punched in the head, pushed to the ground, and then stomped on the chest and abdomen. Some students are seen comforting the injured student.
The videos were uploaded to Instagram on Sunday (Mar 23). The reason for the fight and whether it involves bullying remains unclear.
Earlier this month, the same Instagram account posted another video, also believed to be from St. Paul's College, showing two students of similar height fighting in front of a classroom whiteboard.
One of the more robust students manages to stand up and fight back with punches, while other students step in to mediate.
