Citybus unveils new route 580 connecting GO PARK Sai Sha

Citybus will excitingly launch its brand-new express bus route 580 this Saturday (March 29), offering seamless transportation services from GO PARK Sai Sha to Shatin Central.

Operating in 30-minute intervals every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday, route 580 will link key destinations, including Sai Sha, Ma On Shan, Shatin Wai and Shatin Central. 

With the launch of the new route, Citybus's Ma On Shan and Sai Sha network will have expanded to deliver direct and efficient bus services from three key railway hubs, including Shatin, University, and Ma On Shan Station.

Passengers can easily interchange to other popular routes, including the 798 Tseung Sha and B8 New Territories East Boundary Express lines. Together, these routes provide easy transport to Tseung Kwan O, Tai Po, and the Heung Yuen Wai Control Point. 

Additionally, route 580 will be the first to operate from the newly constructed waiting lounge at the Sai Sha Residences Transport Interchange, where passengers can enjoy air conditioning, Wifi, and real-time bus arrival information.

This launch follows Citybus's successful debut of two other new routes, 581 and 582, last April. These two routes provide efficient transportation services from Sai Sha to Ma on Shan, University Station, and Pak Shek Kok. 

Moving forward, Citybus is committed to enhancing its network by working collaboratively with Sun Hung Kai Properties to deliver new cross-district and inter-urban routes, connecting major hubs like Kowloon Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Tsuen Wan.
