Govt task force meets with local law enforcement at Royal Thai Police Headquarters

A dedicated task force established by the Security Bureau to assist Hongkongers detained in Southeast Asian countries for illegal work convened with local officers on Tuesday morning.

Led by Undersecretary for Security Michael Cheuk Hau-yip, the eight-member task force visited the Royal Thai Police Headquarters in Bangkok. Following this meeting, the team plans to visit the Tourist Police Bureau and meet with officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in the afternoon.

The team arrived at the Royal Thai Police Headquarters at approximately 9 am today using a special vehicle and engaged with several local police departments.
