The Observatory recorded the lowest temperature so far this winter at 13 degrees due to a strong northeast monsoon.
The weather watchdog reported that the temperature at Tai Mo Shan dipped to 3.1 degrees, Ta Kwu Ling reached 10.8 degrees, and Sheung Shui, Tai Po, and Sha Tin recorded 11 degrees.
The minimum temperature tomorrow morning is forecasted to be around 14 degrees, with daytime temperatures expected to rise to around 20 degrees in the next couple of days.
The Observatory said the temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large, and it will be cold in the inland areas of the New Territories.
