A mega drone show -- with more than 2,000 drones -- will be staged at the Art Park of West Kowloon Cultural District on Monday (Sep 30) to celebrate National Day.
Titled "The Next Generation Chorus Performance", the show will cover a wide array of performances including a drone show with 2,099 drones symbolizing the year "2024" and "75" from the 75th National Day, 1,000 students singing patriotic songs, and performances by multiple youth groups.
The event -- last from 8.30 pm to 9.10 pm -- ?will showcase the country's achievements through three themes "Standing Up", "Growing Prosperous", and "Becoming Strong."
The public can enjoy the show at designated viewing areas set up at various locations of the Art Park, or watch the performances through live broadcast on a number of TV channels.
Due to the show preparation and dismantling work, areas of Art Park including the Great Lawn and Harbourside Extension will be temporarily closed until Tuesday (Oct 1), while the East Harbourside Lawn will be closed until Thursday (Oct 3).
In addition to exploring Hong Kong, international tourists can take a short ferry ride to the vibrant city of Macao.
