Hong Kong police have on Friday arrested a man for allegedly throwing rocks onto railway tracks in Sha Tin MTR station, disrupting train services.

The incident occurred at around 10 am this morning. Police said they have arrested the man for endangering passenger safety with the man now detained for questioning.
According to Hong Kong law, wilfully endangering passenger safety is punishable by up to three years’ imprisonment.
