Hong Kong’s live music calendar will welcome a rising global voice this May, as Indian rapper Hanumankind brings his debut headlining tour to the city for a one-night performance in Hung Hom.
Scheduled for May 9 at TIDES in Whampoa Garden, the show is part of the artist’s 2026 Asia tour, presented by Collective Minds in collaboration with Clockenflap. The Hong Kong stop sits alongside a regional run that includes Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, marking the latest step in the rapper’s rapid international ascent.
Born Sooraj Cherukat, Hanumankind has emerged as one of the most talked-about new names in global hip-hop, following the breakout success of his single Big Dawgs. The track entered the Billboard Hot 100 and gained widespread traction across streaming and social platforms, introducing his sound to a broader audience.
Shaped by his upbringing between Kerala and Houston, his music blends the cadence of Southern hip-hop with narratives rooted in identity, ambition and lived experience. The result is a style that feels both grounded and globally resonant, balancing intensity with accessible hooks.
His growing profile has been matched by an equally energetic stage presence. After sold-out shows across North America and performances in Europe, as well as a high-profile appearance at Coachella, Hanumankind’s live sets have drawn attention for their pace and immediacy.
The Hong Kong performance is expected to carry that same momentum, with a setlist that spans his breakout tracks alongside newer material. For local audiences, it will be a first chance to experience the artist’s live energy in an intimate setting.
Tickets for the Hong Kong show are priced at HK$598 for floor standing and HK$568 for upper deck standing, with sales available through Ticketflap.
