Good Samaritan delivery rider praised

A Pizza Hut delivery rider warmed people's hearts after he posted his dashcam footage on the internet showing himself spotting a visually impaired woman walking on the road and immediately blocking the lane with his motorcycle and helping her back to the sidewalk.

The widely circulated video happened at 6pm on Tuesday when the motorcycle turned left from Scientific Research Road on Innovation Road in Pak Shek Kok.

The driver realized a visually impaired woman had mistakenly entered the road and was walking near the left lane of the road, with vehicles passing by.

The driver suspected she had lost her direction and immediately drove to the left lane and stopped in front of her.

He got off his bike wearing a Pizza Hut uniform and asked: "Where are you going?" and directed her back to the pavement. He then kept an eye on the woman to ensure she was safe.
